KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Saturday was a tough day for area college football fans as both the Wolverines and Notre Dame suffered lopsided defeats in their bowl games.
8th-ranked Michigan was depleted with several key players sitting out the Peach Bowl because of the NFL Draft, resulting in a 41 to 15 loss to the Florida Gators.
The Irish had more at stake and suffered an even bigger defeat in the Cotton Bowl, losing to #2 Clemson in their College Playoff Semi-final game 30 to 3.
