After watching Michigan cruise to an 80-60 victory over Northwestern on Sunday night, a night where the Wolverines broke a school record for its best start in program history, the U-M coaching staff extended an offer to 2020 four-star small forward Micah Peavy who was on an official visit to campus this weekend.

Peavy, who spoke to 247Sports back in July about his interest in the Wolverines, said that he has been steadily building a relationship with U-M assistant coach Luke Yaklich and appreciates the way the Wolverines utilize young players in its system.
“They’re saying that I fit their playing style and I was just talking about how their freshman play,” Peavy told 247Sports. “I can go in and play right when I get there, so it’ll be cool. (Luke Yaklich) shows that he has a lot of interest because he talks to me a lot. So, it’s good.”
The 6-foot-5, 172-pound small forward is currently a Top-100 prospect in the 2020 recruiting class as he ranks No. 67 overall and No. 64 overall in the 247Sports composite rankings. According to the composite rankings, Peavy is also the No. 15 overall prospect from his home state of Texas. His 247Sports crystal ball currently has a 100% selection in favor of LSU.
Peavy’s offer for the 2020 class makes him the fourth offer of the cycle for head coach John Beilein. With four-star point guard Zeb Jackson in the fold as a commitment, Beilein has also extended offers to five-star center Walker Kessler and four-star guard Ethan Morton.
