The Michigan Wolverines haven’t found much success against their arch rival in recent years. Ohio State has dominated “The Game” over the past 18 years and has outpaced the Wolverines with a 16-2 record since 2001.
This year was supposed to change the narrative as Jim Harbaugh and company entered as the favorite and a threat for the College Football Playoff. However, the Buckeyes sent Urban Meyer out as a winner, with a dominant performance on both sides of the ball en route to a 62-39 win.
One Michigan recruit thinks that’s all about to change.
“I don’t think anybody is going to get any gold pants any time soon,” three-star Michigan recruit Joey Velasquez said.

It’s a bold statement from any Michigan recruit, but especially bold for Velazquez who lives in Columbus.
The three-star safety recruit already has the Ohio State game circled on his calendar and hopes to be a part of the Michigan team that changes the narrative.
This should be fun.
