The Michigan Wolverines won’t be making the College Football Playoff, but Jim Harbaugh’s team is still going to end up in a major bowl game.
ESPN has updated its bowl projections for the 2018 college football season and the Worldwide Leader has the Wolverines heading to a New Year’s Six bowl game.
Michigan, which fell in its final regular season game to Ohio State, will get a chance to finish its season on a high note.
Here’s where ESPN has Michigan playing in this bowl season:
- ESPN college football analyst Mitch Sherman has Michigan playing Florida in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 29 at noon.
- ESPN college football analyst Kyle Bonagura has Michigan playing Florida in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1 at noon.
So, ESPN believes that Michigan will be facing Florida in its bowl game, though the two experts disagree on what bowl game it’ll be in.
Michigan will officially learn its bowl game status later this evening. The full college football bowl slate will be unveiled on ESPN later today.
