Less than a month after committing to Michigan, Ashburn (Va.) Broad Run running back Tim Baldwin re-opened his recruitment and decommitted from the Wolverines.
“After careful consideration, speaking with my parents and Michigan coaching staff, I have decided to decommitt from Michigan and reopen my recruitment,” Baldwin wrote in a statement posted to Twitter. “I am very excited to still have the opportunity to continue to participate in experiencing this process. Thanks everyone for their insight, time patience and understanding of my decision.”
Baldwin is a 3-star prospect in the class of 2020, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is ranked as the No. 342 overall recruit in the nation and the eighth-best prospect from Virginia in his class.
Michigan has four verbal commitments remaining in the class of 2020 following Baldwin’s departure.
